I represented a client on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated with a motor vehicle accident involved. The client faced a 7 to 12-month suspension of his driver’s license. After conferencing the case extensively with the municipal prosecutor and the arresting officers, the DWI charge was dismissed and the client pleaded guilty to Reckless Driving, with no driver’s license suspension, and a small fine. The Court also sealed the record of the client’s guilty plea in the event of any future civil litigation resulting from the accident.
