Juvenile Crimes

Kids make mistakes. At the Law Offices of Thomas Carroll Blauvelt, LLC, I believe one mistake shouldn’t derail your child’s life. If your child is facing criminal charges, contact my firm. I will fight to protect your child’s rights and his or her future.

As a former prosecutor, I know how aggressively the state prosecutes individuals — even children. I am here to make sure your child is given a second chance. I am more than your child’s lawyer — I am their advocate.

Kids make mistakes; it’s part of growing up. That doesn’t mean they are bad, and they shouldn’t be labeled as such.

Over the course of my more than 20-year career, I have defended kids just like yours against a wide range of criminal offenses, including:

  • Drug violations
  • Underage drinking
  • Disorderly conduct
  • Assault
  • Shoplifting and other theft

A Clean Record For A Brighter Future

Every year, more than 65,000 kids in New Jersey are arrested. Once arrested, charged and convicted — even in the juvenile system — your child will have a rap sheet that will follow them far beyond their teen years.

Getting into college, getting federal financial aid, pursuing various career paths — all of these things can be limited by a criminal charge, even if your child isn’t convicted and even if it happened while they were a minor. That is why I take my defense a step further.

Once we have gotten charges dismissed, secured a not guilty verdict or worked out a deal with the prosecution, I will take steps to expunge of the arrest, charge or conviction from your child’s record. When they are asked if they have ever been charged or convicted of a crime, they can answer “no.”

Do Not Wait To Get Your Child The Legal Help He Or She Needs

Working with an experienced juvenile defense attorney gives your child the best chance of overcoming their criminal charges and avoiding the negative impact a conviction will have on their life. Call 877-676-7729 for a free consultation.
